Assam Rifles Celebrate International Mothers' Day Event at Tirap District, Arunchal Pradesh

Assam Rifles Bn under aegis of HQ IGAR (N) celebrated International Mothers' Day Event at Kunsa and Lonyan, Tirap District, Arunachal Pradesh on 14 May 23.A total of 130 children and their mothers from nearby villages attended the event. The activities included speech on Health and Nutrition of mother, thanks giving song by children for their mothers, Dance performance by children for their mothers, cake cutting, Med camp to address the issues of the womenfolk and a speech of gratitude by the children for their mothers. All participants expressed their gratitude towards Assams Rifles for celebrating and honoring their mothers as well as motherhood, maternal bonds and influence of mothers in shaping of the society.
