Senior Medical Officers’ Conference on Changing Paradigms in Primary Health Care

The two day Senior Medical Officers’ Conference, themed “Changing Paradigms in Primary Health Care”, concluded at HQ Training Command, Bengaluru on 17 May 23. The Conference, helmed by Air Vice Marshal Sadhna S Nair, Principal Medical Officer HQ TC, was inaugurated by Air Marshal R Radhish, Air Officer Commanding in Chief, Training Command (TC). Other dignitaries present during the conference were Air Marshal SK Indoria, Senior Air Staff Officer, TC and Air Marshal Rajesh Vaidya, Director General Medical Services (Air).

Dr Alexander Thomas, Founder Patron of Association of Health Care Providers India, delivered the keynote address and Col (Dr) M Kubendra (Retd), National Vice President of Academy of Family Physicians of India addressed the delegates.

Over 100 delegates took part in the deliberations. Lectures and presentations by domain experts on scientific advances in the field of Medicine, various facets of Medical Administration and their applicability to practice of Primary Health Care, were conducted during the Conference.
