ARMY PROVIDES STUDY MATERIAL TO MORE THAN 250 CHILDREN IN BISHNUPUR

In an attempt to constructively engage school-going children, unfortunately, deprived of education due to ongoing turbulence in Manipur, Indian Army provisioned study material to Children in the Bishnupur district in Manipur by distributing basic writing materials and notebooks to ensure that they are engaged in studying and they are disconnected from stress and trauma.

Volunteers in the villages were urged to conduct some basic classes for some time guaranteeing these students did not fall behind much in their studies and constructively engage them towards creative activities in pursuit of peace and harmony in the region. Distribution was done in five relief camps wherein more than 250 students were provided with study material.

The relentless efforts of the Indian Army to engage in hours of distress and disturbance would go a long way toward maintaining peace and harmony.
