Assam Rifles Felicitated and Inaugurated Fish Pond in Chumithang Village, Tirap District, Arunachal Pradesh

Assam Rifles under Civic Action Program facilitated in the construction of a fish pond at Chumithang Village. The fish pond was inaugurated by Commander, Headquarters 25 Sector on 18 May 2023.The event had an attendance of approx 200 people to include village authorities, leaders, residents and district administration officials.The fish pond at Chumithang village was constructed with an aim to provide sustainable source of livelihood to the villagers. The village has immense potential for fish cultivation which can now be utilised.The locals appreciated the efforts of the Assam Rifles and urged to continue with such assistance in the future.
