Assam Rifles Organised Musical Evening at Pongchau Village, Longding District, Arunachal Pradesh

Assam Rifles organised a  musical evening as part of a month long Pedagogic workshop for promoting Wancho language at Pongchau village, Longding district, Arunachal Pradesh  in conjunction with Wancho Literary Mission, a NGO based in Longding District.

Besides entertainment, the musical evening was aimed to encourage Wancho youth to revive and rejoice their traditional folk songs, lullabies and ethnic dance. The audience were also enthralled by an electrifying performance by the Assam Rifles Jazz Band.

The village authorities, members of youth organisation and functionaries of Wancho Literary Mission unanimously expressed their appreciation to Assam Rifles for organising such an amusing evening.
