Shri Divakar Jayant, INAS Take Over as  Chief General Manager of Naval Armament Depot, Alwaye

Shri Divakar Jayant, INAS has taken over as Chief General Manager of Naval Armament Depot, Alwaye on 23 May 2023 from Shri Puneet, who moves to take charge as Chief General Manager in Mumbai. The Officer is of 1990 Indian Engineering Services batch and he is an alumnus of IIT Delhi with B. Tech in Electrical Engineering. He has joined here after over three years tenure as Principal Director of Naval Armament at Integrated Headquarters (Navy), New Delhi. He has also served in various capacities including General Managers at Naval Armament Depots at Vizag / Mumbai and pioneered in operationalisation of Naval Armament Depot at Karwar.  He has been very instrumental in planning and setting up of infrastructure and manpower for facilities at NAD in Andaman and Nicobar Island and other NAD facilities near Vizag.  He has specialisation in repair and maintenance of Guided Weapons.
