Cycle Expedition Conducted on World Bicycle Day 

In view of Commemorating World Bicycle Day on 03 Jun 2023 and World Environment Day on 05 Jun 2023 a Kumaon Battalion under the aegis of Panchshul Brigade started a 10 day cycle expedition from Pithoragarh to Adi Kailash with an aim of promoting adventure in the Army while showcasing the rich history, diverse landscapes, hidden gems of religious tourist attractions and inception of new vibrant villages along the border areas in KUMAON region. The cycle expedition was flagged off by Brig SPS Chouhan, Commander Panchshul Brigade on 26th May 2023. Spanning over 10 days covering challenging terrain and breathtaking landscapes the expedition team comprising of one Offr, one Junior Commissioned Offr and fifteen Other Ranks will hit important religious tourism sites viz Om Parvat, Kailash Mansarovar route, recently nominated vibrant village i.e Gunji  culminating at Adi Kailash a revered destination for pilgrims globally.
