515 Army Base Workshop, Bengaluru is undertaking Training of Apprentices for ITI passed Candidates commencing from 01 Oct, 2023 in the factory premises for one Year. 69 (Sixty Nine) Vacancies of apprentices training  in the trades of Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Machinist Grinder, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance, Electrician, Tool and Die Maker (Press Tools, Jigs & Fixture), Welder and Sheet Metal Worker are available under various categories of Reservation, with a stipend ranging from Rs.7700 to Rs.8050.

Only those candidates who have successfully completed craftsmen training under NCVT ( National Council of Vocational Training) scheme from recognized ITI/ITC may apply online through www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in on or before 31 Aug 2023. 515 Army Base Workshop was established in 1942. The Base Workshop is situated near Trinity circle, Ulsoor, Bengaluru-08 and is responsible for indigenizing and manufacture of critical spares and simulators for Indian Armed Forces.
