Key Initiatives of NCC Discussed at 4 J&K NCC Battalion   

Battalion Commander Col Ram Madhukar Sharma, convened a conference of all NCC Officers of Samba and Kathua District today to discuss crucial topics of interest within the National Cadet Corps (NCC). This conference was attended by Group Commander, NCC Group HQ Jammu, Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) and Care Taker Officers (CTOs) encompassing several significant subjects including Training, NCC Integrated Software, importance of timely attendance of PRCN Course to prepare the trainers for the changing reality of undertaking a larger responsibility with elan. Institutional training sessions play a pivotal role in nurturing leadership skills and fostering discipline among the cadets, equipping them with the tools necessary for success. NCC Integrated Software, an innovative software is designed to streamline administrative tasks and enhance the overall efficiency of NCC operations, making it an indispensable asset in the modernization of the NCC framework. Attendees also received information on an exciting Photography and Filming Competition, a unique opportunity for cadets to showcase their creativity and talent while highlighting the rich culture and traditions of the state as well as values and ethos of the NCC. This competition aims to harness the power of visual storytelling to promote the NCC's mission. The Battalion Commander underscored the significance of undertaking the Pre-Commission NCC Course (PRCN) by the CTOs which  is pivotal in training the trainer for nurturing professional and ethical responsibilities, ensuring they are well-prepared to lead and guide the next generation of cadets. The Group Commander NCC Group HQ Jammu also interacted with the gathering to align all stakeholders with the Key Result areas of the ADG NCC Directorate Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh, Maj Gen Rajesh Kumar Sachdeva including larger aim of NCC towards Nation & Character Building and left them with the lines of DG NCC…. TOGETHER WE CAN & WE WILL. The conference promised to be an invaluable gathering for all Associate NCC Officers, offering insights, knowledge sharing, and fostering camaraderie among the esteemed attendees.
