Indian Army Delivered Talk on Road Safety Awareness Targain, Rajouri   

"Road Safety" today is one of the greatest public health issues throughout the globe. Millions of lives are lost annually because of fatality arising due to road accidents. India Army in its relentless efforts to generate awareness about road safety awareness among the students, had organised a road safety awareness campaign at Govt Higher Secondary School, Targain, Rajouri. The event attracted a huge populace including drivers who regularly ply on these mountainous roads. The campaign encouraged students to pledge to drive safely by following simple driving etiquettes and traffic rules more sincerely. Handouts on road safety etiquettes were also distributed to civilians emphasizing the dangers of traffic safety violations and preventive measures to avoid the same.  The attendees applauded the efforts of Indian Army for organizing such informative awareness campaign in these remote areas.
