TAPPS, Miran Sahib Organized a Plantation Drive  

Tiger Army Pre Primary School, Miran Sahib organized a very auspicious plantation drive on 25th Aug 2023. The aim of this program was to make children aware about the value of trees in preventing climate change, improving air quality and preserving bio diversity, apart from planting new saplings for hands on experience. Chief Guest on the occasion was Mr Alok Kumar Maurya (DFO). The program began with a welcome note. Tiny toddlers of the school presented a dance performance depicting the importance of trees. Students and teachers also made some posters and banners. They also pledged to plant as many trees as possible in nearby areas to create a very healthy environment and contribute in minimizing the climate changes. A range of 50-100 ornamental plants were planted in the school campus to create an awareness about  saving trees. Principal of the school, Mrs Mamta Saroch Chalotra, thanked the Divisional Forest Officer in supporting the school for this noble cause. Finally, the event ended with enthusiasm and happiness after doing such great work.
