Assam Rifles Conducts Medical Camp

Assam Rifles  under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South)  conducted a medical camp in collaboration with ECHS Polyclinic and Bethesda Khankho Foundation, a local NGO  at village Tuiringphaisen, Dist Churachandpur on 26 Aug 2023.

The  medical Camp was organised by Assam Rifles as part of its unstinted efforts to reach out to the local populace with limited access to essential healthcare facilities during the ongoing crisis  in Manipur. The Assam Rifles medical staff and a team of nurses and para medical  staff  from the medical fraternity of ECHS Polyclinic examined a total of 257 people from the vicinity of village  Tuiringphaisen. Senior citizens , pregnant, lactating women and children were the major beneficiaries of this camp.

The people recieved consultation, medicines & laboratory services. The camp was enriched by talks on awareness &  precautions for seasonal diseases and importance of personal hygiene and sanitation.
