Ariya Tabassum is a determined and hardworking student who hails from a remote village of Batote, Ramban district in Jammu & Kashmir. She comes from a humble background and her parents have struggled to make ends meet. Despite the financial challenges, Ariya Tabassum had dreamt of pursuing higher education and making a difference in her community. Ariya Tabassum was passionate in the field of healthcare. She aspired of becoming a nurse, helping people in need and contributing to the well-being of the society. However, her aspirations seemed distant and difficult due to the lack of resources and financial constraints. Fate however had something in store for Ariya Tabassum. The Indian Army initiated a special program called Jammu & Kashmir Special Scholarship Scheme under Operation Sadbhavana with an aim of providing educational opportunities for hardworking yet underprivileged students like Ariya Tabassum. The purpose of this initiative was to bridge the gap between privileged and underprivileged students by offering scholarship and financial aid to those who displayed exceptional potential and dedication. Academic record and unwavering determination of Ariya Tabassum caught the attention of Indian Army. Recognizing her immense potential, Indian Army supported her by providing scholarship to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Mewar University, Gangrar, Chhitorgarh (Raj). Ariya Tabassum knew no bounds as she realized that her dreams were finally within reach. With renewed hope and vigour, Ariya Tabassum embarked on her education journey at Mewar University, Gangrar, Chhitorgarh (Raj). The institution is equipped with state of the art laboratories, experienced faculty and a nurturing environment that fosters growth and learning. Ariya Tabassum has immersed himself in her studies, eagerly absorbing the knowledge that would shape her future career. The Indian Army’s Education Assistance Program has been a lifeline for students like Ariya Tabassum, who have the potential but lack the financial means to pursue their education. Ariya Tabassum knows that she achieved her goal not only by her own efforts but also with the support of Indian Army’s project, Operation Sadbhavana.
