Assam Rifles Successfully Carries Out Evacuation of 163 Internally Displaced People From Moreh

In a remarkable demonstration of impartiality, meticulous planning, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of all citizens, the diligent efforts of the Assam Rifles in Moreh culminated in a seamlessly executed evacuation operation.

This operation marked a significant milestone as it ensured the safe passage of 163 displaced individuals — a diverse group consisting of 66 men, 55 women, and 42 children — from the Moreh Relief Camp to Pallel.

The operation, executed with precision, exemplifies the Assam Rifles’ fortitude and dedication in ensuring safety and welfare of all citizens. The evacuation commenced at 1600 hours and concluded at 1945 hours, during which the Assam Rifles provided an additional layer of security to create a safe environment for the evacuation process. This emphasis on security underscores the organization’s deep commitment to facilitating secure transitions in sensitive situations.Upon reaching their destination, the displaced individuals were offered refreshments after which the police escorts accompanied them in the onward journey to Kakching and Imphal, using individual vehicles and state transport respectively.
