Army Public School Celebrates Teachers’ Day         

“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”To commemorate the Birth Anniversary of the second President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a philosopher and a great teacher, Army Public School Damana celebrated Teachers Day on 05 September 2023 in the school premises. The event was graced with the eminent presence of Brig Vivek Puri, SM Cdr 19 Inf Bde and Chairman APS Damana. He was accompanied by Lt Col Shakti Singh, Offg SO School,  Mrs Pushpinder Kaur, Principal APS Damana, Mrs Shallu Kapoor, Vice-principal, Ms Ravinder Kaur, eadmistress Foundational Wing, Staff and students.  A scintillating Morning Assembly was presented by the students of class XII to express their love, respect, acknowledgement and recognition towards the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development. The special assembly incorporated poems, songs, dance and musical performances. They also expressed their gratitude towards the teachers through a mesmerizing orchestral performance. Besides, a Certificate of Appreciation was presented to the teachers by Brig Vivek Puri, SM, Cdr 19 Inf Bde and Chairman APS Damana for their dedication and hard work which play a vital role in making the pupil an accountable citizens of tomorrow. He insisted that teachers are the cornerstone of students’ future and there’s nothing worth enough to gratify them for their selfless service and commitment. Mrs Pushpinder Kaur, Principal APS Damana extended her heartiest wishes to all the Faculty Members for their unwavering support and dedication for the upliftment of the institution. She advised the new teachers to move with changing time and adapt changes in teaching techniques too. Mrs Shallu Kapoor, Vice-Principal of the school also congratulated the staff on the momentous day. The programme concluded with singing of National Anthem.
