Indian Army Organised a Seminar on Mental well being and Prevention of Substance abuse for College Faculty and Students of Government Degree College, Kishtwar   

In its effort to reach out to the masses and spread awareness regarding prevention of substance abuse, Indian Army, Dul alongwith team of Addiction Treatment Facility, District Kishtwar and Red Ribbon club of Government Degree College Kishtwar, organised a seminar on Mental well being and Prevention of substance abuse at Governement Degree Colleger, Kishtwar. The event was organised in a systematic way to drive home the point that youths involved in drug menace end up ruining their career and life. The event spread the awareness through innovative means such as skit on ‘Nasha Mukt Kishtwar’, Poster making competition and informative lecture by senior most Military Doctor of Batote based Military Hospital. Victims of drug abuse under rehabilitation also shared their experiences. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from youths and students of Government Degree College Kishtwar. Participants of Skit and Poster making competitions were felicitated with prizes.The efforts of Indian Army drew positive response from the populace & saw enthusiastic participation by the youths and students. The inhabitants have appreciated the efforts of Indian Army in sensitising the youth on Drug menace and its ill effects.
