Combined Annual Training Camp / Pre Republic Day–I Camp by 3 Kar BN NCC; Inauguration of Rifle Firing Range & Obstacle Course

3 Karnataka Battalion NCC is conducting Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) & Pre Republic Day–I Camp at Vidya Sanskar Group of Institutions, Bengaluru from 11-20, Sept 2023.  The aim of the camp is to carry out intensive individual and collective training to inculcate qualities of leadership, moral character and discipline among the cadets. The camp will also conduct Inter Battalion Competitions for Drill, Cultural and Best Cadet Competitions for selection of cadets for Republic Day Contingent 2024.  A total of 2 Officers, 9 ANOs,  28 PI staff, 13 Supporting staff &  450 Cadets are attending the camp.

The Camp Commandant Lt Col Damodaran P P, Commanding Officer, 3 Kar Bn NCC, opened the camp with a grand inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed firing range and Obstacle course in the school campus. While addressing the cadets, the Camp Commandant advised them to make maximum use of available training facilities and appreciated the Management & staff of Vidyasanskar for taking the lead and constructing the assets on a war footing scale.
