Motivational Lecture by Gallantry Awardee at Kalal, Rajouri       

Indian Army organised a lecture by Sub Maj (Honorary Captain) Shabir Ahmed, Shaurya Chakra (Retd) at Senior Secondary School, Kalal, Rajouri District. He shared first-hand experience of the valour displayed by Indian Army Soldiers during Kargil War. This event also served as a tribute to the heroes who made the supreme sacrifice while defending our country against the adversary.  A sense of patriotism and pride was visible amongst the young gathering as the veteran related real-life instances of his time spent in the Indian Army. Such lectures by War Heroes, leaves a positive impact on the young generation and motivates them to become responsible citizens of our country.  A total of 80 students, teaching staff and prominent persons from nearby villages attended the event. The audience took keen interest in the talk especially the interactive session and conveyed a deep sense of gratification for the interesting and inspirational talk.
