As part of the Forward Area Tour of North Tech Symposium Eight Senior Dignitaries from various industries incl Mr Sunil Mishra, DG SIDM visited the forward areas of Akhnoor. During the visit they were given a brief historical audio visual presentation of various battles and operations that have taken place in the area.  Post which they were briefed on the Challenges faced by the Troops on ground and their proposed Technological Solutions. They were also shown the selected innovations which were fielded in the Comd HQ Idea and Innovation Competition. After interaction with officers of the forward formation the Dignitaries left for Jammu with heaps of praises for the innovative thinking of the Armed Forces.
