Assam Rifles Paid Homage to Its Braveheart

Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) conducted a 'Wreath Laying Ceremony’ , to pay homage to it's Braveheart Rfn/GD KR Thangkhul of 4 Assam Rifles, who laid down his life on 28 Oct 1968 while retaliating an insurgent ambush.

The indomitable spirit and undaunted valour displayed by the brave heart who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation is a source of  inspiration and motivation for all.
