Ex-servicemen Rally Conducted On 04 Nov 2023 At Raiwala Military Station

An Ex-Servicemen Rally was held on 04 November 2023 at Raiwala Military Station. The event was presided over by Brigadier Anirban Dutta, SM, Officiating GOC, Uttarakhand Sub Area and was attended by 500 Veterans & Veer Naris. The main aim of the event was to connect with the Veterans and address their grievances. To resolve pension related issues, counters of various Record Offices were established. Medical Camp was also established with free medical checkup, in coord with Military Hospital Roorkee and Ex-Servicemen Contribution Health Scheme (ECHS) Cell, Raiwala. Representatives of Sainik Board, Dehradun and Army Ex-Servicemen Association were present during the rally for providing effective guidance for the Veterans on their resettlement plans.

Many eminent Veterans attended the event and made significant contribution to the success of the rally. Brigadier (Retd) Amrit Lal addressed the rally on behalf of the Zila Sainik Board, Government of Uttarakhand. Enthralling performance by the Military Pipe Band added festive colour to the ceremony.

In recognition of their sacrifice and service, Veer Naris, eminent Veterans and personalities were felicitated during the event.

Stalls by PCDA (Prayagraj), Zila Sainik Board, Records, ECHS, civil administration. SPARSH, Kadhi and Village Industrial Commission, Aadhar Card updation counter, financial institutions etc added value to the occasion which were appreciated by the Veterans.

The rally, in true spirit of the Veterans Day event, reflected the unflinching support to the Veterans' community and spirit of gratitude for the blood, sweat and toil they have given for the greater good of the country.
