Army Commander, Surya Command, Visits Ongoing Agniveer Recruitment Rally At Lucknow

Lt Gen N S Raja Subramani AVSM, SM, VSM, GOC-in-C, Central Command today visited the ongoing Agniveer Recruitment Rally at AMC&C Stadium at Lucknow. The Army Commander was briefed in detail on the recruitment process by the Zonal Recruitment Officer Maj Gen Manoj Tiwari. The Army Commander expressed his satisfaction on the arrangements for the rally and complimented all personnel involved in the recruitment for maintaining absolute transparency and fairness. Later the Army Commander flagged off the rally and interacted with the candidates advising them to participate in the rally on their own merit rather than being swayed by nefarious promises of touts. The Agniveer candidates were energised and motivated further to join the Indian Army, after getting an opportunity to meet the Army Commander. The Agniveer Recruitment Rally for 13 districts under RO HQ Lucknow commenced on 16 Nov, 2023.

Today candidates from 3 Tehsils of Kannauj, 2 Tehsils of Chitrakoot, 5 Tehsils of Banda, 3 Tehsils of Mahoba, 4 Tehsils of Hamirpur and 1 Tehsil of Barabanki appeared for the recruitment rally. Approximately 1500 candidates from the above areas had qualified for the rally today. Around 1130 candidates appeared for the recruitment rally.
