Indian Army Distrubutes Stationery To Students

Red Shield Division of Indian Army distributed stationery items to the students of Phugakchao in Bishnupur District and S Kotlian of Torbung area in Bishnupur district, one of the worst affected areas of violence in the state of Manipur.  The event was aimed to benefit 150 students of both the communities who have been adversely affected by the ongoing unrest in the state.

The novel step was undertaken by the Indian Army to help the students to pursue their education earnestly in present difficult time. Most of these students are staying at Relief Camps and are undergoing schooling in adhoc schools. The initiative affirms the commitment of Indian Army to continue its support to the locals of the region. The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army for the help rendered.
