‘Battle Of Minds’ – Indian Army Quiz Competition- 2023 At Bangalore
Quarterfinals of ‘Battle of Minds’ an Inter-School Quiz competition was conducted by the Indian Army in Bangalore on 20 November 2023. The quiz competition commemorates the 25th year of ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ celebration & highlights the role of the Army in Nation-building.
“Battle of Minds”- Indian Army Quiz 2023 is an initiative to reach out to approximately 1.5 lakh schools across the country with representation from all districts of India and is expected to engage 1.5 crore students across the Nation. The contest is being conducted in a hybrid mode i.e. online and offline progressing to Inter-Command level and finally culminating at the National level.
Participants from 15 prestigious Schools from the States of Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu participated in the event showcasing their intelligence prowess and knowledge. Six teams qualified in the quarter finals and will now be representing their school in the semifinals. This mega event is being witnessed as an inaugural step in the transformative journey and will instill values of patriotism, education, victory, bravery mirroring the indomitable spirit and dedication of India Army. During the interaction with students, the Deputy General Officer Commanding of Karnataka & Kerala Sub Area, Brigadier MRK Rajesh Panicker motivated the students & inspired them to join the Indian Army and contribute towards Nation building.
